Return of the Virtual Boy? Nintendo Says 'Looking' at VR
With Oculus VR and Sony having their sights set on a buyer arrival of the Rift and PlayStation VR (PS VR) headsets, the House That Built Mario is considering its choices in the VR space. The news comes by means of industry examiner Serkan Toto amid Nintendo's speculator preparation.

"So Nintendo (at the preparation) simply said no adjustment in arrangements for the cell phone application take off. Says they "are looking" at VR - without any points of interest," Toto tweeted.

Nintendo did not substantiate on its announcement or reveal its expectations well beyond this. With the organization's income a unimportant shadow of what they were amid the Wii period, we won't be shocked in the event that it's more than only an announcement to conciliate speculators.

The organization reported a 36 percent drop in quarterly benefit on Tuesday after dull computer game deals for the year-end Christmas shopping season.

The Japanese maker of Super Mario amusements and the Wii U console earned JPY 29.1 billion (generally Rs. 1,636 crores) benefit for the October-December financial second from last quarter, down from JPY 45.2 billion a year prior.

With the Nintendo NX slated during the current year (reputed to don a 900p determination and 60fps) and a large group of portable recreations arranged, it's not clear how VR would fit into its prompt arrangements. Given that the organization's history with VR execution has been poor, best case scenario, what with the Virtual Boy being its second most minimal offering stage ever, how it handles this division in its present symbol stays to be seen.
